SENIOR SCHOOL DESTINATIONS 

Pilgrims’ boys go on to a variety of schools including Bedales, Bradfield, Marlborough, Radley and Sherborne. 

Some go to co-ed schools such as Canford or Marlborough.

Many go with full boarding to Charterhouse or Harrow, others go to more local day schools such as Churcher’s College in Petersfield, King Edward VI in Southampton and local state schools in Winchester. 

40% of our boys go to Winchester College and 10% to Eton. 

Boys continue to gain 100% pass rates for Entrance and Common Entrance exams year after year. 

We are not a through school to Winchester College, so options are always open for boys to go wherever suits them best.

SCHOLARSHIPS, AWARDS AND EXHIBITIONS TO SENIOR SCHOOLS 

 

In 2026, 13 boys were awarded scholarships, across Music, Academic, Sport and Design & Technology.

One of our boys going to Eton is going as a King’s Scholar, an outstanding achievement. 

We’re also extremely proud that 3 out of 5 Founder’s Awards for Winchester College were won by Pilgrims’ boys. This is hugely prestigious, takes real commitment from the boys and is awarded to only the very top Scholars.       

In 2025, 11 boys won a Scholarship or Exhibition to Winchester College. In addition, one boy was Elected as a King’s Scholar to Eton, one to St Paul’s and one to King Edward VI, Southampton.
