LEARNING AT PILGRIMS’
Pilgrims’ teachers are experts who are passionate about their subject. Their curiosity is contagious , meaning academic excellence is combined with great fun in the classroom to inspire a love of learning.
Education is a shared endeavour, so we keep you fully across your son’s progress with assessments throughout the year to give us and you a clear picture of how we’re all doing. You’ll get official assessment cards four times a term as well as a full report at the end of the Christmas and Summer terms. Parents’ evenings take place in person or virtually and we’re always on hand to answer your questions.

Senior School Preparation
Pilgrims’ feeds some of the top independent schools in the country and ambitions are high. Each year, over 40% of our boys go to Winchester College. However, a majority head elsewhere, and Pilgrims’ feeds a wide number and type of school: from co-ed (for example, Canford or Marlborough) to single sex (for example, Radley or Sherborne); and full boarding (for example, Charterhouse or Harrow) as well as day (for example, King Edward’s in Southampton and Portsmouth Grammar School).
